i've installed fireshot pro on FF 52.3. the trial version is expired but how installed the not pro version ?
when i delete the pro version from FF extensions, then i instal the FireShot (not pro) extension, i've again the Pro version.
I need it on FF specifically

fuyu: Waterfox (firefox clone) question.
fuyu: I'm using a firefox clone called Waterfox, which is firefox pretty much before the "big upgrade" that killed most extentions. Where can I find the xpi to drop into waterfox? I tried to install it with fireshot-install.exe but cannot find the xpi for firefox.
I looked in the appdata roaming folders for Mozilla and Fireshot but with no luck.
Please help!

mzegeek: Fireshot has been my go to capture extension for several years but I'm so f*cking frustrated this is my last attempt get a resolution.
With the last update now everytime I choose capture selection there is a large HINT box that covers the top of the page in chrome which keeps me from capturing the top most portion of the webpage. It says "Hint: hold ctrl key down to capture entire element view demo/close". If I click view demo or close then the whole capture is cancelled. I am forced to capture the whole page and then crop it . How do I stop the Hint box from ever appearing again?

MissMel: This does not help those of us using Chrome.
I am having the same problem as "ptype", as well as not being able to scroll to capture more than the visible portion of any page. That's the whole reason I bought it.

ziwer1: what is the difference between advanced and fireshot pro?? I activated the advanced version of fireshot in firefox 57 but i still get the upgrade to pro in fireshot menu. which seems to mean that fireshot pro is not yet activated even if I have access to advanced features??

mgerity: I posted this over in Premium Support, but as I'm not getting any response over there (over 2 weeks waiting so far), I'm going to post here too.
One of the main reasons I upgraded to Pro was so that I would get multiple page pdf captures, instead of single page pdfs that are 30"+ long that can't be printed. This worked for a little bit when I installed the Pro version, but no longer works. I checked all of the options, and there is an option under Editor Options/General/Confirmations for "create multi-page PDF files" which was set to "Ask." The problem is that it NEVER asks. Then, when I set that setting to "Create automatically," it still doesn't work, and I still giant a giant, single page pdf.
I have confirmed that I have the Pro version installed, so that's not the issue.

emanresu: Fireshot worked for 15 minutes then broke
emanresu: I just started using Fireshot and everything worked perfectly with saving selections and the rest but now when I go to Save Selection I see the whole browser window turn grey for about 1/10th of a second. Then when you try to save any kind of screenshot it says "Currently saving a screenshot. Please wait until screenshot has been saved" but nothing else happens (no screenshot is saved).
I tried:
- restart browser
- disable Fireshot -> re-enable Fireshot
- uninstall Fireshot -> clean cache etc. etc. with CCleaner - > reinstall Fireshot
- install Fireshot in a different FF profile that has exactly one other extension installed ('Mozilla Archive Format')

Marten: Where to enter license key ?
Marten: FS Pro crashed and only way I could get it working was a reinstall.
That went fine. But I am unable to upgrade to PRO
I checked the thread "HOWTO - Entering License Key" but I do not have the optons (as in the screenshots) in my version of FS Pro
Please advice. I really need the Pro Version.
The Extension Menu of my browser lists I am using Version 0.98.90 by susbox

P.S. The only way to downgrade FireShot is to downgrade Firefox. This is a new Mozilla's paradigm.
