JK: Hello. The license you purchased in 2014 supports 2 PCs and 2 laptops running Windows, so you should not worry about overusing it. However, I'd recommend removing the license from your dying PC when you stop using it.
You mentioned that you liked how the Pro version worked on PCs - it did not create a new tab and had everything working in another process. Unfortunately, this is not how it's going to work on Pro with Chromebooks and Macs. Due to security considerations and the ongoing process of making APIs much stricter and enhancing security awareness, the Pro version on Mac/Linux/Chromebooks will use a different approach involving tabs. Just to stress: this change is not due to our intention; we're forced to move in that direction.
